Wild We Roam Co. - It might seem a little strange for a vintage shop but I wanted to share the origin of our shop name. In 2018, my family made the decision to sell all of our belongings, pack up a 19 foot camper van, and hit the road. Adventure was calling our name. The 50+ hour work weeks had worn down our spirits. With a big love for each other and the great outdoors, we headed west without a plan.
First stop, Grand Canyon, Arizona. Living in a National Park is something I'll never forget. Life in the remote corner of the canyon was just the breath of fresh air we needed. We spent most of the season snowed in and knew that we needed to find warmer territory. California sounded like the perfect place to set up camp. The drive was the most memorable, from Joshua Trees to dunes, to ocean views. The stuff that makes you come to life. The tiny town of Coarsegold welcomed us and Yosemite was right around the corner. This is where we decided to make some extra income with a hobby. We made jewelry and home decor. Inspired by our son's middle name "Wilder" and our lifestyle, Wild We Roam Co. was born. A lot has changed since then, and now we are slinging vintage! It was important to me to keep the same name even though the direction of the shop changed. The shop has evolved but we are still very much the free spirited people who lived the dirtbag life out on the open road.
